This section contains useful resources for RE professionals, including reports relating to religious education, teaching resources and professional guidance.
Some of these resources came about through REC projects such as REsilience, a national programme for helping teachers tackle contentious issues in the RE classroom, and Celebrating RE month, which took place in March 2011 and was a chance for schools, colleges, universities and SACREs to celebrate and showcase excellent RE through events, conferences and school-based and community activities.
Other documents provide guidance for school governors, advice on selecting teaching resources, on hosting an MP on a school visit, and interpreting the DfE’s teaching standards.
